What is the dress code aboard MV Phoenix?
The dress standard onboard is informal and we suggest barefoot when onboard the vessel. We encourage a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Sporty, lightweight, cotton clothing is a good basis for your cruise wardrobe. There is an iron provided on board if you wish to use it. There is also an opportunity for some laundry to be attended to.
At times the weather can be humid so clothing in a ‘breathable’ fabric is recommended. Fishing shirts are also a great option as they are light and have UV protection as well. The average daily temperature is 28ºC – 33ºC.
In July & August, the minimum temperatures can fall to between 12ºC – 15ºC so you may want to consider a light jumper or jacket for an early morning excursion.
Do you offer ground travel support?
For Broome charters we offer a complimentary service to take you from Broome to Cygnet Bay Resort. This is conducted in two cars and includes refrigerated transport, allowing for unlimited food and wine. Once at Cygnet Bay Resort we will arrange a complimentary breakfast plus an optional Pearl Farm tour. You will then be taken out to MV Phoenix via an amphibious Sealeg.
Are there any luggage restrictions?
Please don’t bring a suitcase – instead bring a soft travel bag or sports bag for ease of storage. We would appreciate if you could limit luggage to 12.5kg per person.
Do we cater for special occasions?
Can we bring our drone on board?
There is no need to as we have two drones onboard. Each group will be given a USB of footage from our drones & Go Pro at the end of the journey.

It is possible to visit Koolan Island, Horizontal Falls, Montgomery Reef, Raft Point, Ruby Falls, Sale River, Deception Bay, Hanover Bay, Prince Regent & Kings Cascade to name but a few.
What do we do about alcoholic drinks during our cruise?
MV Phoenix is not licensed to sell alcohol however we are happy for you to purchase alcohol from one of our recommended bottle shops. We will arrange collection of the alcohol and have it delivered on board prior to your arrival. Please remember that due to the remoteness of some of our destinations it is better to not be too conservative with your order.
If you have some special wines or spirits that you would like to supply yourself – please discuss this matter at time of booking.
